IBO Player Setup Guide

Follow these step-by-step instructions to install IBO Player and configure it with your VodBolt IPTV subscription on any device.

What Is IBO Player?

Among the IPTV applications available to users, IBO Player is one of those which can be found on almost any platform and operating system. The nice user-interface is not the only thing that might attract users, its smoothness of playback and inclusion of basic features makes it a popular choice among IPTV users.

IBO Player is available on iOS (iPhone, iPad, Apple TV), Android (phones, tablets, TV boxes), Amazon Fire TV devices, Samsung Smart TVs, LG Smart TVs, and more.

Step 1: Download IBO Player

Download IBO Player from the appropriate app store for your device:

  • Apple devices: Search for "IBO Player" in the App Store
  • Android devices: Search for "IBO Player" in Google Play Store
  • Amazon Fire TV: Search for "IBO Player" in the Amazon Appstore
  • Samsung Smart TV: Search for "IBO Player" in the Samsung App Store
  • LG Smart TV: Search for "IBO Player" in the LG Content Store

Step 2: Launch the App

Once installed, open IBO Player. On the first launch, the app will display a Device ID (MAC address) and a Key on the screen. Make note of these values as you will need them for activation.

Step 3: Activate Your Device

To activate IBO Player with your VodBolt subscription:

  1. Visit the IBO Player activation portal at iboplayerdev.com from any web browser
  2. Enter your MAC address (Device ID) displayed in the app
  3. Enter the playlist URL or Xtream Codes credentials provided by VodBolt in your welcome email
  4. Click Save to complete the activation

Step 4: Start Watching

Return to IBO Player on your device and restart the app. Your VodBolt channels, VOD library, and EPG guide will now be loaded and ready to enjoy.

Live TV

Enjoy over 20,000 live TV channels in HD quality. Browse channels by category including sports, news, entertainment, movies, kids, and international content. The EPG (Electronic Program Guide) shows current and upcoming programs.

Movies & VOD

Access more than 30,000 movies on demand. Browse by genre, search by title, read plot summaries, view cast information, watch trailers, and add favorites to your watchlist.

TV Series

Watch your favorite binge-worthy series across all genres including comedy, drama, action, thriller, crime, animation, reality shows, and documentaries. Select individual episodes and seasons with ease.

Setup on Amazon Fire TV Stick

  1. From the Fire TV home screen, go to Search
  2. Type "IBO Player" and select it from the results
  3. Click Download or Get to install the app
  4. Once installed, open IBO Player and note the MAC address
  5. Complete the activation steps described above
  6. Restart the app and enjoy VodBolt on your Fire TV Stick

Setup on Samsung & LG Smart TV

  1. Open the app store on your Smart TV (Samsung App Store or LG Content Store)
  2. Search for "IBO Player"
  3. Download and install the application
  4. Open IBO Player and note the displayed MAC address and Key
  5. Visit the activation portal from a phone or computer to complete setup
  6. Restart IBO Player on your TV to load your VodBolt content

Tip: For the best streaming quality, we highly recommend using a wired Ethernet connection (LAN cable) rather than WiFi. A wired connection provides more stable bandwidth and eliminates latency issues.

Setup on Android Phone or Tablet

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device
  2. Search for "IBO Player" and install it
  3. Open the app and note your Device ID (MAC address)
  4. Activate using the portal or Xtream Codes login method
  5. Start streaming your VodBolt channels on the go

Setup on iPhone & iPad

  1. Open the App Store on your iOS device
  2. Search for "IBO Player" and download it
  3. Launch the app and note the MAC address displayed
  4. Complete the activation through the IBO Player portal
  5. Restart the app and enjoy VodBolt anywhere

Troubleshooting

  • Channels not loading: Check your internet connection and restart the app. Ensure your subscription is active.
  • Buffering issues: Try switching from WiFi to Ethernet. Reduce stream quality if your bandwidth is limited.
  • EPG not showing: Use the "Update EPG" option in the app settings to refresh the program guide data.
  • App crashes: Clear the app cache, update to the latest version, or reinstall IBO Player.
